My final dissertation whilst studying a Graphic Information Design degree in 1994, explored the role of specialisation as opposed to employing a more broad skill set. My concern that my creativity and enjoyment of work, might wane if I became too much of an expert in any one field. As it happened I was fortunate to enter the dynamic world of multi-media, the interactive audio-visual phenomenon emerging during the early days of Mac's. My first years working in a four man team saw me becoming multidisciplinary, slowly becoming more specialised over the twenty years as Director of Design of what became a 50 strong company.

Now approaching my tenth year as a professional artist, I've retained my belief that it pays to keep my creativity as broad as possible, hence my switching between styles and subject matter:
